Your Life Matters!

Your Life Matters!!

This morning as I read chapter 37 of Moses' Genesis, my thoughts are that some of Joseph's story was likely preserved by Joseph himself, rather than all this early revelation delivered singularly by some direct download to Moses by the Spirit, as often assumed.

Joseph's writings perhaps sovereignly positioned in the libraries of the Pharoahs. Held there for posterity.

One day once discovered, Joseph's life story would bring hope to Moses, a young boy whose life had also been providentially preserved. Moses by then, strategically positioned of necessity, to enable the fulfillment of Abraham's promise, though generations had passed.

It is only when one opens the first chapter of Moses' Exodus, verse 8, that such necessity becomes evident: "Then a new King, to whom Joseph meant nothing came to power in Egypt."

I can only imagine the insights provided young Moses, when he came upon "scrolls" that reinforced the mysteries of his ancestors, himself having been raised Egyptian, though surrounded by the Hebrew slaves which he now realizes are his people!

Perhaps his mom and sister had shared stories from their past, but to find those wonderous myths now verified in writing, then later reinforced by the Spirit, the I Am, grounding and empowering his life mission sufficient for his calling, his leadership and their exodus!

That's why I write most every morning! Its for posterity, my grandkids, there kids and for "a thousand generations."

Sounds arrogant, but I recognize my worth in Christ, particularly in this most perilous moment in America.

Who knows what your life story will mean to the generations that follow you.

Believe in yourself, write your journey down. You represent a "piece" of God that passes understanding. You count in creation, so capture your kingdom story!
