ABOUT ME

JOHN R. BOST has over 50 years experience in education, spanning the pre-school years through graduate school.

Twenty years were spent in the public-school sector serving the classroom in all sciences, followed by eight years experience in administration and now over twenty years in community development.

A certified executive coach, he holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Community Education & Resource Development as well as an Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S) in Leadership & Administration.

He served seven years on the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Planning Board, various Early Childhood initiatives, the Infant Mortality Coalition and has been actively involved in several Community Development Corporations. He served as Chairman of Leadership Winston-Salem, as well as three terms as the Mayor of Clemmons, NC. John is President and owner of Master Counsel and Associates, Inc., which offers planning and coaching services for various non-profits and church-based organizations, to include real estate acquisition and development. In 2018, he was inducted into The Rhododendron Society by the Reich College of Education at his Alma Mater, Appalachian State University.
