When This Body Falls Off

A brother in Christ shared the link below this morning. As I viewed this interesting mix of both humor and reality, my 5th grade equivalent of a modern day Biology degree quickly kicked in.
As well, my thoughts were layered over by my present conviction that Creation was the first & best manifestation of the Christ! Then, the record of scripture captured its parallel, the spiritual dynamic manifest also in humanity.
Christ, by the way is the concept of God in man, incarnation, rather than simply the last name of Jesus.
All this was then layered upon by my morning read, now entering the New Testament. My fifty plus year old disciplined annual read now moves into Matthew, with his front-end account of the virgin birth, as was long prophesied by Isaiah (7:14).
My question now, what stage is my own leather bound body, at age 78? No, not my Bible but my flesh!
I'm certain that eventually I will mature (think pupate) toward the fully developed spiritual creature I was born to become, once this old body falls off!
1 John 3:2 (KJV): "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
