In my readings this a.m., the author refers to "the fruit of our yes" with reference to the decision made by the Virgin Mary.
The one most powerful human privilege, the most valuable of all capital possessed may be our personal "yes", not to speak of the implications of our institutional yesses!
They can release a creation changing "fruit" on the earth, as with the Christ, or when in error, redirect families and generations, even set the world into chaos, as at some point did the "Yes" of Adolf Hitler.
Don't under-estimate the power of your "Yes", as it may represent a shared omnipotence that sets man apart from all creation!
