Revenge Over Remedy

With no disrespect intended for the thousands of victims of 9/11, I can't help but grieve for the horrific delusion that had taken hold of the minds of those terrorist pilots 20 years ago.

To fly plane loads of humans into buildings and in those last few seconds shout, "Allahu Akbar," as if the Creator had encouraged and empowered their evil mission. Wow!

Just as with the Kamikaze ("divine wind") pilots of WWII, their blind allegiance to another power hungry man (maybe one gradually driven to some maddening revenge by his own maltreatment) became a substitute for a relationship with the Almighty.

God must at times give us over to our own devices, solely for the sake of revealing the madness of our souls! Still yet, we seem too often to prefer revenge over the remedy...to love one another, as we love God!

Armaments and deeper intelligence alone cannot prevent such catastrophes. People under sufficient duress and hope of a better life, if only in "paradise" are always vulnerable

when madmen are empowered.
