My Faith Seems Always Challenged!

Just to give insight into how I think when reading scripture, in my continued read through Acts, I realize it had only been approximately 4 to 7 years from Peter's denial of Jesus and his miracle with Tabitha in chapter nine.

She had to have been dead at least 8-10 hours given the required walk from Lydda to Joppa.

Peter had only around seven years of spiritual maturation since his harsh denial, yet I've been a believer for 53 years and yet to see a cold body raised from the dead!

You say, "Don't be foolish, so hard on yourself, John, don't you know...."

To me anything I read beyond what I currently know as my reality and practice is a challenge to my faith, regardless of what I see as a reality in present day Christianity.

The secret perhaps is verse 9:40: “Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed."

Just say'n!
