Just No Longer Sure Where I Stand, Though Sure In Whom I Stand!

Writer's picture: John BostJohn Bost

When I read through chapters such as Isaiah 31, knowing the mounds of ruins layering the soil of the Middle East, yet listening to the sabre-rattling of Russia and China both laden with nuclear weaponry, I wonder at the possible outcomes of recent, increasingly violent, conflicts among these ancient rivals, as well as the future of America given the disarray and deadlock among our leaders.

Not trying to stir up doctrinal controversy, as I know about three different perspectives as I write!

So, i'll just steal a phrase from a friend, "Are you awake yet?"

You are more than welcome to use my phrase “Are you awake yet?” Be aware that Facebook‘s fact checkers do no care for my phrase. They have become so irritated with it that, while it formerly offered the word ”awake” as I typed a post or comment it no longer offers that word forcing me to type the complete word every time, and I do! I fear for our sleeping country that soon we will be jolted awake from our slumber. Continuing to sleep and ignore may soon no longer be an option.
