Forged in the Fire

Writer: John BostJohn Bost

The older I get, the more that mystery seems to surround the work we call love, yet the deeper my understanding grows.

There is a force that forges our lives for good, just as Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah and other ancients attempt to capture in words: The Potter, the Blacksmith, the I Am!

We are clay in the making, but with choices to be made while actually in the fire.

There are times of severe testing, yet deep grace by design, so much so that the very weapon formed to to try you cannot defeat you, and in fact, works to your good. Mystery and majesty, the I Am!

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Isaiah 55:8‭-‬9 NIV
