Happy Sunday morning, along with
some Good News:
"So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men." Rom.5:18.
"For God so loved the 'Kosmos!'"
Jn 3:16a.
Grace is that abundant, anything more demanding is a transference of man's bias, even though their lives be inspired, their thoughts at times unfortunately filtered by their "old man", limiting our understanding of purest grace.
When there is an element of condemnation, even among those desirous that others know such grace, too often thought by them a necessity to persuade men, it introduces a lesser grace, one that requires works of righteousness in order to attain.
That is a "stumbling block", though it creates a space for intervention and the necessity of an institution, also thought necessary to instruct us toward grace.
However, the institution should better be about proclaiming and celebrating the extravagance of grace, than the merits of another's religion.
"Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
He then said, "It is finished!" and it truly was!
Death and the grave no longer have a hold on us! Though my body will surely perish, yet shall I see God!
That's the message short and sweet.
Now celebrate the journey as you by grace become like Jesus, and do even greater things!
Who knows, you may well be living below your means, while trusting a lesser gospel. If so, no interest in arguing.
Just say'n!
