Pentecost Twice Passed and Present.

The Day of Pentecost, known in Hebrew as Shavuot (Feast of Weeks), is traditionally celebrated as the day of the establishment of the nation of Israel at Mount Sinai. This day represents the 50th day after the Passover, marking when God gave the Torah (Law) to Moses and the Israelites, finalizing their covenant and creating a nation under God's law.

Then "when the day of Pentecost had fully come"...50 days after the resurrection, the disciples were filled with the same Spirit that had raised Christ from the dead.

Now they could both keep the Law and be free from it...the very message demonstrated by the God incarnate, the Christ!

Now "even greater things" shall they (we) do in His Name.

Can you hear the message? It's not about church attendance, though that serves to remind us of such promises & spiritual privilege! It's about power from on high, such that we might go and do likewise!
