One Loaf

If you have read deep into my 10 years of blogging, you know that brevity is not my strong suit.


This morning however, I break the pattern.

Reading in I Corinthians, the last supper, the finale of Jewish festivals, the Passover soon to be fulfilled.


The concept of the Eucharist, communion, even transmutation as held to by many is amazingly instructive. Now if we could live into it.


One God, uniting us as one Body, one loaf as it were in Christ. So needed in today's world.


"Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf."
