Never In My Lifetime, So Troubled By Such Mixed Messages & Division

This morning my heart is perplexed by reason of my morning reads!
Meanwhile, Isreal and Iran are bombing each other as America celebrates her military strength. Yet these same forces send to arrest illegal immigrants, are now handcuffing citizen protestors with near martial law applied to our streets.
Thousands of cities across our nation plan intensified protests on Flag Day, but this time under the banner of "No King's Day," themselves rightfully making a statement about a constitution that promises democracy over autocracy.
Meanwhile in my morning read, now in Isaiah chapters 31-35, my eye catches strong words strung among these many verses: "Woe to those...who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of chariots (tanks or missles)...but do not look to the Holy One...or seek help from the Lord."
"No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected...the hungry they leave empty...scoundrels (even those duly elected but now silent) use wicked methods, they make evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies even when the plea of the needy is just."
"In your thoughts you ponder... where is that chief officer? Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge? You will see those arrogant people no more, people whose speech is obscure, whose language is strange and incomprehensible."
Troubled yes, but my hope is in the Lord as was Isaiah's ..."therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing unto Zion and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads...and sorrow and sighing will flee away!"
May the Lord have mercy upon a divided America!
You and I both knew this was coming (Wars and rumors of war) as to the protestors 80% of them are paid agitators
