Negotiation

By definition negotiation is a means to "obtain or bring about by discussion."
Discussion requires patience and time, the extent of which is determined by the intrinsic value placed upon the items being negotiated.
If it's material, the consequences of said discussion depend upon some true worth in future trades. A sense of give and take is always expected, with consequences over time most easily overcome.
Yet, true worth narrows the margins for discussion, especially when faith (religion), and family (nationalism) are at risk.
In such cases where both are threatened, the best and worst of passions, ego and clever intent play out.
That my friend is the recipe for war, and in today's world of shared and scarce resources, even global warfare.
We now seem on the brink of just that, with a once respected republic now out of balance in its long tested and admired tri-part decision making processes.
Most glaring is the congressional body, distracted, perhaps intentionally by a "big, beautiful bill" that stands to exacerbate our near impossible nation debt.
Now stir in a biased media both left and right, yet heard daily by way of these hand held digital devices by we few global citizens who have known true freedom for a lifetime.
The latter now threatened for the first time in their lifetime, and when protesting, face armed military and masked government agencies (ICE) in their streets! That's as chilling as the acronym above implies.
Now consider an overly egotistical world leader at the helm, who's only life experience has been material, wealth based negations, yet stubbornly attempting to hold prolonged discussions under those pressures!
Then even further complicated by a near nuclear nation who's belief system would reward its annihilation of "infidels", with their "Supreme Leader" now openly threatened with assassination...the recipe for "Armageddon"!
This thing is no longer about paying off the national debt, immigation and lowering taxes!
Change is upon us!
This grandpa's prayer: "God have mercy upon this tiny blue dot which we call Earth!"
I have two comments
1- I hope the USA 🇺🇸 dont get involved with our military but if we do I pray it’s swift.
2- If the paddle hadn’t been taken out of the classroom a lot of the street violence we’ve seen wouldn’t have happened
