Things I Consider When Reading The New Testament

-Many of these writers actually spent time with Jesus, the Christ, the I Am.

-The Gospels were written years later, thus subject to personal recall and yet at the risk of death inspired to write.

-The beauty of the Gospels is their overlap in stories from four separate personality types, thus differing perspectives.

-The oldest surviving full text of the New Testament is the Codex Sinaiticus, which dates from around 325–360 CE.

Biblical. See sample remnant on papyrus above.

-They have survived translation, escaped institutional "captivity" & withstood ages of religious resistance.

-Thoroughly tested as to life application by millions and across multiple cultures.

-By design to be read with an openess to the same Spirit that inspired the writers. Memorization of text alone misses the point!

-A treasure map for discovery of what was once described as Living Water
